Become a Cave explorer and live an unforgettable experience

The cave of Vallina is one of the several caves we can find in Llanes County, located in the tiny village of Porrua.

The singularity of this cave, apart from the fact that there are plenty of different formations such as stalactites, stalagmites, gours, columns, angel wings, etc., is that we can easily find one kind of formation called eccentric stalactite, which breaks the gravity laws.

The cave is about 1km long; at the cave entrance, we have to crawl for about 5m, but we can walk standing for the rest of the cave.

On our way through the cave, our guide will explain the different formations, how they were formed, why, their value and singularity.

You will explore this fascinating underground world, finding new formations at every step. Undoubtedly, you will experience a time travel, from the earth's shape to the life of prehistorical humans until our days, because this cave was used during the Spanish Civil War as a place to hide and as a bunker during the bombings.

Asturias is like a Gruyere cheese. Its geology is mainly formed by limestone, a very "soft" rock that quickly gets erosional by the water. Thanks to that, Asturias is full of caves, wholes and different genuine formations.

WHAT TO BRING

Comfortable clothing and mountain boots or sports shoes. We will provide a caving suit, so short pants and a T-shirt are enough.

• A bag to store your swimsuit and wet shoes.

BARRANQUISMO, PADDLE SURF Y ESPELEOLOGÍA

Pack de Aventura pensado para familias que buscan actividades con niños, unas vacaciones alternativas, en contacto con la naturaleza y vivir una pequeña aventura donde pequeños y mayores tomareis contacto con los deportes de aventura y disfrutareis de unas vacaciones inolvidables.

Sin duda, la experiencia de realizar actividades con niños es muy gratificante y seguro que será algo que recuerden toda la vida.

Se pueden realizar estas actividades con niños a partir de 7 años.

DURACIÓN

La duración total de la actividad de Barranquismo es de unas 4-5 horas incluyendo preparación y la realización de la actividad.

El Paddle surf son unas 3 horas incluyendo preparación y la realización de la actividad.

La actividad de Espeleología tiene una duración de unas 3 horas.

Normalmente las actividades se realizan en 2 días pero también es posible realizar una actividad cada día y no tienen por que ser consecutivos.

PADDLE SURF

• Nos iniciaremos en este divertido deporte, tablas hinchables de surf en las que vamos de pie con un remo disfrutando del increíble paisaje. Lo realizamos en la playa del Sable, una zona de aguas tranquilas perfecta para la iniciación y sin peligro

DESCENSO DE BARRANCOS

• Conoceremos Los Picos de Europa por dentro, para ello descenderemos por el cauce encañonado de un río de montaña, en un increíble paisaje de montaña. Esta actividad se asemeja a un aquapark natural, donde ataviados con trajes de neopreno, nos encontraremos con pozas naturales, toboganes, destrepes, etc. Es un cañón de iniciación donde no se necesitan cuerdas, muy fácil y divertido. Sin duda, la actividad estrella, donde los más pequeños disfrutarán a tope

ESPELEOLOGÍA

• Entraremos en una cueva salvaje, para descubrir el increíble paisaje subterráneo con estalactitas, estalagmitas, galerías, salas, etc.

Llanes has more than 30 idyllic beaches and dramatic cliffs where you will be delighted doing surfing or SUP. 

Undoubtedly, kayaking on the Deva River is a must for all visitors. A descent of the spectacular River Deva in sit-on-top tandem kayaks, enjoying the fantastic mountain scenery and exciting white water.

If you are keen on some extreme action, canyoning is definitely the most adrenaline-inducing activity. Jump, slide, swim, abseil and zipline through some of the most spectacular natural settings Picos de Europa has to offer. It is an awesome feeling, and no experience is required. You just need to be active and healthy and possess a spirit of adventure.

This trip takes us into the beautiful mountain scenery of Picos de Europa National Park and the Cantabrian coast. The tour explores the park with adventure activities in the wild landscapes of these undiscovered mountains and the magical Cantabrian coast.  

The Picos de Europa are just 40 minutes inland from the Cantabrian Sea, which gives them a uniqueness for the spectacular views and their sculptured peaks.   

This tour gives you all of that. The activities are one part of it. The cultural & environmental experiences are the others.
