Day 1. Arrival at the agreed airport and private transfer to Andorra
ARRIVAL IN ANDORRA
Arrive in Andorra and check in at the hotel before meeting your guiding team.
During the welcome briefing, the guides will introduce the week’s walking programme, discuss the recommended equipment and explain the mountain and weather conditions expected during the trip.
Welcome Dinner
The day concludes with a welcome dinner and your first overnight stay in Andorra.
Day 2. THE MADRIU VALLEY
LEVEL A · MADRIU–PERAFITA–CLAROR VALLEY TO FONTVERD
Approx. 12 km · Ascent: +650 m
This walk enters the UNESCO-listed Madriu–Perafita–Claror Valley, following the historic GR7 and GR11 trails. Ancient mountain paths lead through Entremesaigües and the traditional settlement of Ramio before continuing towards Fontverd.
Woodland, open clearings and paths overlooking the valley provide a gradual transition into the upper landscape. After pausing near Fontverd, the group returns through the Madriu Valley.
This is a sustained mountain walk rather than a summit ascent, offering a steady pace and plenty of time to appreciate the valley’s remarkable natural and cultural landscape.
LEVEL B · VOLTA A RAMIO
Approx. 9 km · Ascent/Descent: +550 m / −550 m
This moderate circular walk begins in the Engolasters area with a steady ascent towards Coll Jovell. It then continues along forest trails overlooking the Madriu Valley, combining peaceful woodland with changing mountain views.
The route reaches the traditional settlement of Ramio, where the valley’s historic character and rural heritage are especially evident. From here, a varied return route completes the circuit through this exceptional mountain landscape.
Day 3. INCLES, JUCLAR & SISCARÓ
LEVEL A · INCLES VALLEY & JUCLÀ LAKES
Approx. 12 km · Ascent/Descent: +600 m / −600 m · Subject to access and conditions
The day begins with a gentle introduction through the beautiful Incles Valley before starting the sustained ascent towards the Juclà mountain refuge and lakes.
Valley paths, mountain streams and increasingly open terrain create a rewarding sense of progression as the route enters a higher and more dramatic landscape. Reaching a summit is not essential to enjoy the finest features of this walk.
In late spring, the final point reached will depend on road access, remaining snow and the condition of the upper trail. The Juclà area is the principal objective, while an extension towards Col de l’Albe will only be considered if the guide confirms that conditions are safe.
The return journey offers a different perspective over the Incles Valley and further opportunities to enjoy its changing mountain scenery.
LEVEL B · INCLES VALLEY & LOWER SISCARÓ
Approx. 9 km · Ascent/Descent: +350 m / −350 m
This gentler alternative explores the quieter side of the Incles Valley, combining the shaded Obac path with sections of the open valley floor.
Woodland, mountain streams and peaceful meadows provide plenty of variety at a comfortable pace. The moderate ascent also allows time for rest stops, observation and enjoyment of the surrounding landscape.
When access and trail conditions permit, the guide may extend the walk towards the lower Siscaró waterfalls or nearby mountain meadows. Otherwise, the route will remain within the safest lower-valley terrain.
Although shorter and less demanding than the Level A route, this is still a complete mountain walk, offering enough ascent and varied scenery to capture the distinctive character of the Incles Valley in late spring.
Day 4. SORTENY NATURE PARK
LEVEL A · INCLES VALLEY & JUCLÀ LAKES
Approx. 12 km · Ascent/Descent: +600 m / −600 m · Subject to access and conditions

Dinner: Dinner at the hotel is included.
Day 6. ENGOLASTERS, COLL JOVELL & ENCAMP
LEVEL A · ENGOLASTERS, COLL JOVELL & ENCAMP
Approx. 14 km · Ascent: +500 to +700 m · Subject to route conditions
This varied traverse combines the forests and viewpoints surrounding Engolasters with the mountain pass of Coll Jovell and the peaceful setting of Lake Engolasters.
The landscape changes throughout the day as the route moves between shaded woodland trails, open viewpoints and lakeside paths. Rather than a simple out-and-back walk, this is a longer journey linking several contrasting Andorran landscapes.
Depending on access, weather and trail conditions, the guide may complete the route along the Camí de les Pardines or continue towards Encamp. This flexibility accounts for the variation in the total ascent.
With approximately 14 kilometres to cover, the emphasis will be on maintaining a steady and sustainable pace while enjoying a rewarding and varied mountain day.
LEVEL B · CAMÍ DE LES PARDINES & LAKE ENGOLASTERS
Approx. 9 km · Ascent: +100 to +300 m
The broad Camí de les Pardines offers a gentler walking day with moderate gradients and plenty of scenic interest.
Botanical features, waterfalls, woodland and changing viewpoints accompany the route, while Lake Engolasters provides a natural focal point and an ideal place to pause and enjoy the surroundings.
The guide can adjust the starting point and total ascent within the stated range, making this route particularly adaptable when the group prefers a more relaxed day or when weather conditions favour lower terrain.
Although less demanding than the Level A traverse, this option retains a strong sense of place through its combination of forest, water and open mountain views.
Dinner: Dinner at the hotel is included.
Day 7. TRISTAINA & THE HIGH ORDINO VALLEY
LEVEL A · TRISTAINA & THE HIGH ORDINO VALLEY
Approx. 12 km · Ascent: +500 to +750 m · Subject to access and snow conditions
The final guided walking day aims to explore the high Ordino Valley and the spectacular Tristaina area, provided that access, weather and snow conditions allow.
The route explores the glacial lake basin and may continue towards a panoramic ridge, combining high mountain meadows, rocky terrain and the possibility of lingering late-spring snow.
The guide will determine the precise route, total ascent and safest turnaround point after assessing the conditions on the day. The ridge is an optional objective and will only be attempted when it is considered safe and suitable for the group.
If the upper Tristaina area is inaccessible, an alternative route will be selected elsewhere in the high Ordino Valley. This ensures a substantial and rewarding final walk while keeping the emphasis on scenery, safety and the group’s well-being.
LEVEL B · TRISTAINA LAKES CIRCUIT OR THE IRON ROUTE
Approx. 8 km · Ascent: +210 to +350 m · Route selected according to conditions
When the Tristaina area is safely accessible, this option follows the classic lakes circuit at a relaxed pace, allowing plenty of time to enjoy the glacial basin and its impressive mountain backdrop.
If snow or trail conditions make the circuit unsuitable, the guide will select the Iron Route as an alternative. This lower-level walk links riverside paths and traditional villages through the Ordino Valley.
The two routes reveal different sides of Andorra: one focuses on high mountain lakes and alpine scenery, while the other combines attractive valley landscapes with the country’s cultural and industrial heritage.
With a moderate distance and ascent, this option provides a balanced and enjoyable conclusion to the walking programme. The final route will be chosen based on access, weather, and trail conditions.
Farewell Dinner
After returning to the hotel, the programme concludes with a farewell dinner and a final evening together.
Day 8. DEPARTURE
DEPARTURE DAY
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before meeting your private transfer to the agreed departure airport.
Included: Breakfast and scheduled private airport transfer.
