Recommended walking level: The full programme is designed for experienced hillwalkers with a good level of fitness and recent experience of Grade A or Grade B walks.
Mallorca’s most spectacular mountain landscape
The Serra de Tramuntana stretches along Mallorca’s north-western coast. It is a dramatic mountain range of high peaks, steep limestone slopes, deep valleys and breathtaking views across the Mediterranean.
Nature and centuries of human activity have shaped a landscape unlike any other on the island. Ancient paths, dry-stone terraces, olive groves, traditional villages and historic water-management systems reveal how local communities have adapted to this challenging mountain environment.
A UNESCO World Heritage cultural landscape: the Cultural Landscape of the Serra de Tramuntana was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2011.

A week of unforgettable walks
The programme explores different areas of the Serra de Tramuntana, combining mountain routes, coastal trails, traditional paths and cultural landscapes.
Some sections cross or follow parts of the celebrated GR 221 Dry Stone Route. However, we have carefully designed our walks to create a varied and distinctive programme exclusively for our groups.
Choose the right level for your group
Although the full itinerary is primarily designed for Grade A walkers, the programme structure allows us to offer shorter, less demanding alternatives.
Depending on your club’s requirements, we can adapt the walking programme to different abilities and interests.
- A — Challenging
The full programme, featuring longer distances, sustained ascents, mountain summits and more demanding terrain.
- B — Moderate
Shorter routes with reduced ascent while retaining rewarding viewpoints and achievable summit opportunities.
- C — Leisurely and cultural
Comfortable scenic walks featuring traditional villages and places of historical, cultural or natural interest.
