Embark on a unique journey through the most iconic and wildest landscapes of the Ordesa and Monte Perdido National Park. Over five days, we will explore glacial valleys, hanging ledges, lush forests, and natural viewpoints that offer some of the best panoramas of the Pyrenees. A perfect trip for hiking enthusiasts seeking a varied, spectacular trek full of excitement.
During this hiking trip, we will explore the geological formations, flora, and fauna of these incredible mountains and enjoy their distinctive cuisine. We will stay in rural hotels in the beautiful towns of Torla and Bielsa.
This hiking trip offers a chance to enjoy the scenery and nature of the Pyrenees in Huesca, exploring the valleys of Ordesa, Bujaruelo, the Añisclo Canyon, the Escuain Gorge, and the Pineta Valley.
The routes are of medium-high difficulty. Good physical condition and mountain experience are required.

Exploring the Ordesa & Monte Perdido National Park and Beyond
Situated on the West side of the Pyrenees is the Parque Nacional de Ordesa y Monte Perdido. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Ordesa is famous for its 3,000m deep glacial valleys, overlooked by Monte Perdido, standing at 3,348m high. The park contains a dozen or so other summits of over 3000m, mostly strung out along the border. There are hiking trails suitable for all levels. The challenging GR11 route also connects the Pyrenees range from the Bay of Biscay to the Mediterranean. The trails take one through mountain summits, waterfalls, lakes, and caves or follow valleys and high mountain meadows.

Beyond the hikes, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the medieval town of Ainsa, visit the fascinating Bird Centre of the Pyrenees, and discover the peaceful beauty of lesser-known valleys like Escuain and Otal.
